Fatherless blessers! Fatherless blessers!
The fatherless are often less!
True!
Often!
Sad!
Dangerous!
But!
Being fatherless enables reliance! Upon our Heavenly Father. I was born and raised with an abusive and alcholic dad. I have every reason or excuse to be less. True. Sad. Dangerously the case. I would use it as an excuse. This is what we do. But I am doing better, however. Statistics are said to not lie, but in a very generic sense. I am the exception. Many of us are the exception.
True!
Fatherless youth are likely to fall. But so is everybody else. Sorry. Excuse me for being simple in this.
But I can better relate to those who are fatherless, now! I can better understand where they are coming from. When we are fatherless, we are less.
Remember!
When we are less, let us rely on Jesus (Pr.3:5-6). Listen but love life (Ro.8:28). It starts there! When I am less, when I am weak, then His strength can come and be my joy and my potential. Easier said than done, maybe. But I am less. I am more likely to do almost anything. I cannot trust my heart. I cannot lean on what I know. I must trust in my Creator and Savior. Aint nothing better. May we trust in our Heavenly Father. And may we be a father (or mother) to the fatherless (as they need it so much)!
We are less!
But may we still bless!
Others!
